This club is aimed at those who have learnt the basic chess moves and want to improve.  It  provides a mixture of coaching and informal games played under the watchful eye of the coach.

P1210296-350Joining a chess club can be daunting for juniors and for adults who have just learnt the game.  This club aims to bring players up to the standard reqired to join Worthing Chess Club and play in rated competitions.

Many parents wish to improve their own skills alongside their children and this club will help.  Playing and studying chess with the children at home is great fun, apart from the benefits to the child’s playing ability, and the longer the parent stays competitive the better it is for the child.
